FIBRA

​Online configurator developed for ITA, a company specialized in engineered wood structures.

FIBRA is a parametric tool for designing wood structures. The tool performs calculations that predict the behavior of the material and provides a pre-dimensioning in seconds. The user can explore different modulations, obtain the ideal dimensioning, an estimate of consumption and a three-dimensional model of the structure.

Code Design worked on the development of the parametric geometric model and the conception of the user interface. The project team also included engineers João Pini and Renan Prandini, who worked on tool's conception and development of the structural calculation stage.
